Elin Torell from the University of Rhode Island's Coastal Resources Center (URI CRC) writes about her impressions and experiences on a South-to-South Exchange tour to pomote PHE in February 2010. The exchange was sponosred by the USAID-funded BALANCED Project, which URI CRC leads. Project partner PATH Foundation Philippines, Inc. (PFPI) organized and carried out the study tour for ten developing country government and non-governmental professionals to explore up close different PHE approaches linking family planning and coastal resources management.
