Logistics & Coordination

The timely delivery of goods and services needed for relief operations is dependent on a coordinated response among all agencies on the ground, both international and national. Information is the basis for coordination and decision-making in emergency situations. It is important for all agencies to coordinate all activities through the host government authorities. This section of the Pakistan Relief Toolkit provides resources related to proper logistics and coordination during relief efforts. Also see the general disaster relief guides in the Key Resources section of this toolkit for additional resources pertaining to logistics management in emergency situations.
