Community Based Distribution and Provision of Injectables

"One way to increase access to and use of family planning is to promote community-based distribution (CBD) of injectables. Countries struggling with stagnating contraceptive prevalence can begin to alter this trend by training and empowering community-based workers to provide injectable contraceptives," according to a USAID Health Policy Initiative article under the Program Management tab. How do CBD workers and program managers deal with logistics for storing and distributing the injectables and rural areas? Is there evidence to show that this is feasible?
