This tool is primarily used to estimate quantity and cost of contraceptives that will be needed in a country for each of the next five years. It is known as the Contraceptive Forecast and Cost Estimate Spreadsheet, or CastCost. E-mail drhinfo@cdc.gov for a copy of the tool and the user guide. CastCost is available on CD-ROM and will soon be available at www.cdc.gov/reproductivehealth on the Contraceptive Logistics and Forecasting page.
